Day two of the LWF Council 2015 began with spiritual food for thought. Rev. Dr Kenneth Mtata read from Romans 7: 14-25, reminding participants that “Hope Does Not Disappoint” a text that put them in good stead for the business of the day .
The Executive Committee is one of the governing bodies of the LWF. It oversees the proper functioning of the LWF between Council meetings. The Executive Committee shall normally meet semiannually, with one meeting in conjunction with the Council meeting.
The Study Guide for the Thirteenth Assembly was published in March. On Wednesday 29 March the LWF Communion Office will host a launch event to give you a look behind the scenes and answer questions about how the Study Guide was prepared, how it is structured and how it will be used across the communion as we prepare for the assembly.
