Working for church and community
Some 30 churches in Africa belong to the global body of Lutheran churches, a communion of 150 member churches in 98 countries.
LWF member churches live out their vocation with the mission statement, "Liberated by God's grace, a communion in Christ living and working together for a just, peaceful, and reconciled world."
