"Forward-Looking for Quality Implementation of LWF World Service Country Strategies"
The LWF World Service organizes Regional Management Team Meetings (RMTM) every two years to three years to ensure effective coordination, strategy alignment, and knowledge exchange among country programs in the region.
The upcoming meeting in December 2024 will focus on programs in Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic (CAR), and Chad. These have just finalized their strategies built on the three LWF Thematic Areas, namely Protection and Social Cohesion, Climate and sustainable livelihood and Quality Services in to be implemented in different contexts (acute and prolonged humanitarian, recovery and resilience) that characterize these countries.
The goal is to lay the groundwork for ambitious, seven-year programs. Discussions will focus on both programmatic and cross-cutting areas, with particular emphasis on climate, gender, partnerships, and localization—identified as core themes across the three country strategies.
