Lutheran visions and values in church leadership practice today – Inspiration from the Bible and Lutheran tradition

Lay persons from the 7 LWF regions holding leadership positions in their respective LWF member churches will gather for this event.

In Wittenberg, participants will reflect on the Lutheran understanding of church leadership and their vocation as non-ordained church leaders. They will also deepen their spiritual lives while connecting with the historical roots of the Lutheran faith and tradition.

In Geneva they will continue theological reflection on church leadership and growing spiritual communion, and will learn about the organization and work of the LWF at its Communion Office.

Spiritual exchange, sharing joys and challenges, building networks, and learning about being Lutheran in diverse contexts across the global communion are integral parts of the seminar.
